I don't have a TI-83 have no idea what program is the best. I have a TI -89 but it's been sitting on my dresser in favor of the HP-49g+ since the start of school

My English teacher uses that exact phrase whenever someone does something wrong, and, considering that this is my second year having her as a teacher, it gets annoying after awhile.

Nothing wrong with the HP-49g+. I've used one myself, it stand up easily to the TI-89, and with RPN, may surpass the 89 in some areas.

However, you can easily make an RPN simulator for the 89, which has been done for the 83+ (RPN III).

Exactly. I work here. I own eight TI graphing calculators. I still want a 49G+. With that processor and the ability to use SD cards (I see a 1GB model on Amazon for $73.05, and 256MB is way cheap), the possibilities are very grand. I'd love to make an attempt at a *nix distro for it... I'm sure someone has done an ARM port. Besides that, there's no denying that the gold case with silver buttons is beyond secsay.

Yeah, why didn't TI use some of the ideas that are incredibly nice on the 49G+ and implement them on the 89 titanium or 84's instead of the stupid USB port?

A lot of PDAs have ARM processors, so I think that answers the question.

I voted for acelgoyobis. It's one of the best games ever created for the ti-83+!

I quote: 'best '04 program on the 84+'
Just pointing out that it's not just for the 84 (or the 84+, for that matter).

Well, it was very hard deciding between Acelgoyobis, Desolate, and Firetrack 2 (they're all great games!), but I finally decided on Acelgoyobis because Firetrack 2 was a bit on the large side, and Desolate, as awesome as it is, is sort of a one-time game...too bad I couldn't have voted for all 3!!! (JK) ;-)
