Hehe, I'm on level 9, currently. :) Although, I did get hung up on level 2 for a while.

Awesome site!!! Levels 1 and 2 were really easy, but level 3 will take a lot more thought.

Actually, level 3, I thought, was easier than level 2. Maybe that's because I've programmed in JS for a really long time and I know all the common "password protection" tricks. Haven't beaten level 9 yet, but I think I'm pretty close. I got part of it down, at least.

IMO, in try2hack, the first five levels are easy. After that, it starts to get hard.

BTW- to all you Java programmers, you'll like level 4 ;-)

Never mind, level 3 wasn't hard at all. I got past it on my second try. :-D

To be completely honest, however, it would have taken me a lot longer if I didn't have a slow dial-up connection, if the "wrong password" location loaded faster, or if there wasn't a "wrong password" redirection site in the first place. :-)

Well, I went to the incorrect site at first too, but it didn't take me long at all to realize there was that little "secret" hidden in the HTML. But I do have to admit, that was VERY sneaky.

Level 1 was two easy...

Level one was just to filter out all the complete internet n00bs who think they're 1337 h4x0rz because they finally got their oh-so-cool AOL account up and running.

I liked the letter (in the "people who don't belong near computers" section) that said something like "wht is ths i dnt ned no virs warngings my sister tried this and t scrwed up her accunt u suk".

I laughed so hard after reading all of those letters. That had to be the best prank I've ever seen. What made it funnier is how many people actually believed that!

Yeah, they don't deserve it. Even my mom, who sometimes seems like the most computer-illiterate person on the planet, would know it was a joke (at least a 99.99% chance). :-)

Well, I don't see how anybody could have possibly though it was real. How can a virus on your computer affect your IQ and spelling? Well... okay, maybe he IS right... AOL.EXE IS a virus! =-o
