Well, it was a toss-up between the Magnus thong and the Voyage 400. Finally, I chose the Voyage 400, because even though it wasn't as funny, it was a lot easier to look at.

I still interject with the V400 every once in a while. ;) That was the only April Fool's joke I fell into... Cuz I forgot what the date was.

I loved the Voyage 400 April Fool's joke. The thing is that it might just come true some day - maybe not with that name; maybe not until 2008; but I wouldn't be surprised if a device like that described in the joke does appear.

I didn't fall for it very long...

I mean, really, 256 colors? That's more colors than my Windows 95 installation! 16 colors would be more believable.

I hope they come out with a V400... just for fun. If any of the people at TI have a sense of humor, they should do that. :-D

Ah, but with certain code (ask me for it if you care), it is possible for the TI-86 & TI-92+ (those are the only ones I have checked) to do 5 colors (red, yellow, green, blue, & grey, all at the same time).

I've heard of blue and yellow, but RED and GREEN? I think you're joking, but if you're really not, then submit the code somewhere.

Would you prefer code for the TI-86 (in hex or as a .86P) or the TI-92+ (in C or as a .9XP)?

I uploaded the TI-92+ version to the archives. Sorry, no screenshot (they are supposed to be black & white, of course).

Well, it did work, under certain conditions (I have pictures on my website of it working), but not very well. I am going to try to make it work every time without needing any adjustment.
