Still, don't forget that the majority of the world's population is in the Northern Hemisphere. Most of the students here get the summer off, which was probably the point of this poll.

I spent six weeks in Japan, we only got about a week of sunshine, the rest of the summer it was, or looked like it was going to, rain(ing). I got home recently and it's F*CKING SWELTERING HERE! :P I should have stayed in Japan.

I voted cloudy... for the most part, the weather has been okay, sorta.

I assume the people in England will vote rainy? :)

Oh yeah, and I'm back from Washington D.C. Yay.

>30 degrees C

So there!

Britain isn't a cold miserable place all the time.

Just most of it!

Let's see... 30°C = (30*(9/5)+32)°F = 86°F
Really? For us, it's been bouncing somewhere around 75° to 88°. So, the weather has been pretty nice.

A friend of mine from England said it rained all the time, so that's why I was wondering. :)

Check the post dated 18 July 2003, 22:52 GMT, it is a root post. Even I admit to a lot of bad weather over here. But recently it has been gorgeous....
We've had more sun than the Welsh have coal mines.

Wow. :) Anything about 85 is hot for us. I love that weather. Perfect for swimming. You don't get to do that in the winter (unless you know somplace with an indoor pool). Summer is definitely my favorite. (No school!)

This isn't a go at you, it is a go at everyone, even me, but can people not use any swearing, with or without censoring as this makes no difference, the intent is still the same.

Try and use more creative language...

It's hotter here than Kylie's new pants

would be much more creative and such.

So soes everyone agree on a new found effort at creativity, and dropping bad language?

"It's hotter here than Kylie's new pants"

I try to make up quick phrases like that sometimes in conversations. Stuff like that usually makes people laugh :)

But, you're right, we probably shouldn't really be swearing on here, even though most of us have at one time or another (I have a couple times... hehe).

On a related note (and a good one at that) there hasn't been much post-deletion lately. That makes me very happy. So, I guess to keep them from getting back into their routines of deleting [pretty much all of the] posts again, it would help to avoid swearing as much as possible. OT doesn't bother me, but I can understand why they wouldn't want a lot of profanity on the boards.

Haha, true, it isn't. But sorry to say, it is summer up here, and sometimes I wish it was winter. In SoCal it can get up in triple digits, too hot for even the beach, hehe. I'm not a surfer bum or whatever, but over a 100 degrees F (sry, I can't remember Celcius conversions) is just too hot. Haha, I'm going to the beach right now though, so later.

RAINY! I live in Louisiana and it's hurricane season. I think we've been hit with one tropical storm already.
