PUH!
All he's doing is clamoring for attention, saying, "Don't I look good?"
Besides there's no grils who would actually read this poll or take note of anything on this site out there....

PS don't I look good? j/k

The b&w photo is a better photo - you can see the subject more clearly. Face the sun squarely next time you are having your photo taken in Rome. TeHeHe.

Moore to the point, are we getting a bit desperate, for want of a better word, for this to be the survey.

What about should there be an open forum / chat room.
Same as this but with no topic and that messages over X weeks get wiped automatically.
Any one in support of this thing should reply here to show how many people would use it.

Oh course not. If Rome was just the VC then it would be really small.
And then you would have to wonder how the Roman empire stretched so far....

Yes, that is a good idea. However, I believe that people have been calling for such a thing for quite some time. I am sorry, but I don't think that it is going to happen. Though, my pessimism does not mean that I am not in favor of this idea, and I wish that one day that it would go into effect.

I know how you feel. I am taking summer-school because I was too lazy to do all my work. While there are a lot of people like me, there are a few people in my class that are actually dumb. I cannot stand it. Some times I wasnt to kill for their stupidity.

Yes, I know that me not doing my work makes me not too bright. But by reconizing that I must not be too dim.

Why some don't do homework.
Michael O'Brien  Account Info
(Web Page)

Personally I say screw homework. Most of it is busywork and it takes away from things I actually want to do, i.e. programming, photography, 3D animation, hanging out and other misc things. Through some basic observations I've noticed that someones GPA is only a measure of either how bored someone is or how lazy they are, or a combo of the two. Some people will obviously disagree with me but there are two catigories that "intelligent" people go into. The first is those who see everything as easy and do the work quickly as to not suffer through it. The second type is also a person who sees the work as easy but as a waist of time and trivial and therefore not doing it. I have a GPA of somewhere around 3.43, I'm not even in the top ten in my junior class, but I'm the only person who is graduating a year early. Just bcause you occasionally don't do your homework does not mean you are dumb, sme people can't or other just won't. I know that if I "applied" myself I could easily have the highest GPA, and several people have told me that, honestly I couldn't care less.

I still say that the first picture of Henrik was better, even though the lighting was artificial it still bring out features in a very good manner, disticnt but soft. What can I say, I love photography...oh can't forget calculators and programming too. :)

I've tryed telling people the same things, but they usually don't get. They say "Just do the work" but when you have 40 problems of the same things, it becomes so tedious, I often don't do it.

Yes, The first is by far better.

Hmm... am I the only one who likes the second one? It seems that way (at least on the forum).

I always do my homework and stuff because I'm all freakish about my grades... I get POed if I get a B... LOL... and speaking of which, I got a 74% on a test that was 10% of our final grade in English. Oh well :) I can still bring it up.

This site isn't designed to be the center of your social life. If you want some girls, go to a local mall. Not a calculator website.

We need some chicks to balance out the load, keep everyone remembering what they look like.

Not to mention, how many ppl who would reply to a poll about a guy's picture on a site about TI Calculators really have a social life, anyhow? I know I don't...heh.

I agree, this is becomming something like a kids "all boys club" in a tree house. If things get dry, it is because there is little variation, one of the things that attracts the opposite sex.

Maybe we could shake things up a bit, like make the home page pink or something. We could just put in interesting stuff (from a girl's perspective) on this web site.

Nah, I think it's fine how it is... there are other sites that girls visit. Try them instead. You come here for calculator stuff, not girls (I'm not opposed to having girls visit this site, though).

Okay, i'm not saying that the site should be adjusted to suit their "needs" as well as ours. I'm just saying that it would be a nice addition to have them here, not to "hook up" with them but to add more variety of programs etc., that is if they did program. After all if they like the site as it is they would come here.

No you was telling people to go to 'local mail'.
I am actually suggesting leaving your computer, giving your eyes a good message and rub, and joining a sports club / cadet corps / orchestra or something.

I know it sounds scarey, but there is life without a PC.

I don't think I could survive very long without a computer! Actually, I can survive when I'm doing something else I really enjoy, like rocketry (i.e., explosives) or hiking the Grand Canyon or even water skiing.

I agree, their are things that we all like doing that don't involve a PC. Its just that our main interest(s) involve calculators and PCs. In principle what he was saying was drop the thing that you love doing and look for girls if you want a girlfriend. If you really want a girl that means something too you you will be who you are and find one that has interests similar to yours.

I think anything that produces fire in a controled way is incredibly cool! Especially pyrotechnics (fireworks). I'm really only into explosive that are benificial and make life easier.
