I tried it before, but I never really used it because it is kind of pointless for me, I perfer to program on my calculator, rather than on the computer, so I didn't really need it.
It was also alot slower than my 83+.

It needs a ROM image. Get it off your calc and put it in the same dir as VTI. if you don't have a link cable (or don't have a calc) p00p! you, f00l!

I tried to use it for my 86 but it's really messed up and won't do anything....usually freezes my computer.

Hmmm... Search the www for a ROM image and use that insted of your own (sites are out there...I found one a while back but it got killed).
If you really can't find an illigal ROM on the www, eMail me and I might be able to send you an 86 ROM...

I use it all the time with TIGCC.

Same here, I like how easy it is for TIGCC to send and run a program to VTI within a few seconds vs. me doing it in about 5 seconds...

Yeah... Now TIGCC can automatically start VTI, and that is sweet. Very sweet. Useful, too, because half the time I forget to start VTI first.
