Other way around:

limit as x -> pi of tan(x) = tan(pi) = 0
limit as x -> pi/2 from the right of tan(x) = -infinity
limit as x -> pi/2 from the left of tan(x) = +infinity
limit as x -> pi/2 of tan(x) = undef
