Actually SmartMedia cards are nowadays used for a lot of things, for example
every new Yamaha pro synth uses them for storage of midi-data, samples etc.
also the upcoming Ericsson MP3 player is supposed to use them for audio
storage and the list goes on. A SmartMedia slot might be difficult to
implement and it'd also need drivers to get the calc to recognize the
additional space. Has anyone of you ever done anything with SmartMedia
cards?
