I recommend the file ti_protocol  from http://www.ticalc.org/pub/text/calcinfo/
for info about the linkprotocol. to send a 1 or a 0 on the link is not a matter
of high or low, but if you let one of the lines high first, and then the other,
or vice versa.
I'm quite shure that a 1 in the port-registers means a high voltage.
try it yourself too be shure :)
