They STILL do it, because it's safer. I checked the year of printing on a
bulletin-board sign I saw in my school - 1998, baby. They know that
comparing G3s to PIIIs is tricky for them to spin and so they don't try.

So what? AMD is working on 700MHz K7s and Intel has 1.5GHz projects going.
Everyone has vaporware; it's meaningless till it comes out.
