A problem is that those who truly were interested in doing hardware did not wish
to deal with the volume of OT stuff that appeared here.  After awhile, you'll
see that this list has little value as a TI hardware list.  A number of the
'real' hardware questions are not answered, simply because those that know don't
pay attention to this list.

It is misfortunate.  I hang around for the occasional tidbit.  I've been doing
some work on the protocol of the calc link port and such, and there are a few
others here that are doing that also.

Another reason is that this list is visited mostly by teenagers and college age
adults.  During the summer, they may not have easy access to the list.
