Rich tried this before, it occasionally works, but don't use the iron
directly.  "iron it" using the soldering iron on a flat piece of metal
like the backup battery holddown with the metal on the cable.  Neither of
us reccomend this unless your calculator is not worth keeping in the
first place as this procedure is too failure prone and not very
sucessful.
