TI-H: Folding Keyboard

After taking apart a keyboard, i came across a few problems in the
keyboard idea. for those of you who have not taken apart a keyboard, you
will find this:

1) a whole crapload of little rubber 'gumdrops', or 1 big rubber sheet of
gumdrops.

2) 1 plastic sheet with pcb tracings on it, or multiple layered sheets.

3) a small board with a chip and some other parts, either attacked to the
sheets, or it has to align with the sheets (its difficult to explain).

problem #1: when the sheet(s) are rolled up and put into the tube, and
left there for a while, i think that the sheets would get that 'rolled up
poster' effect and it would be a pain in the ass to fix.

problem #2: again, when the sheet(s) are rolled upo and unrolled many
times, i think that the tracings would begin to crack and wear out.

i'm not sure on either of these, but these seem to be inevitable problems
