Ok, the ripple appears to have a frequency of 15kHz, and
a peak to peak amplituted of about 0.12v.
Not really that big of a ripple, but it sure screws up the calculator.
A 330uF filter cap in parallel with the inverter power leads
reduces the ripple to 0.05v, but doesn't help the slowdown
problem.
