try www.jameco.com I have their catalog and I see about 6 or 7 programers for
things like PIC and E(E)PROM

the PICprogramer im looking at right now will program the PIC16Cxxx
(554,556,558,61,620,621,622,71,710,711,83,84)
and 8-pin 12C508 & 509)

its part no. is 132679
