Assuming that TI doesn't change its link
protocol for the TI-89, it should work
as soon as I get a driver written (not
hard since the TI-89 uses the same processor
as the TI-92). As for the SPinTerface
port, I'm not exactly sure what that consists
of since I haven't taken a look at Rich's design
in a while. As far as I know its just a design
to supply power and access to the link port lines,
so the EII could work with that. The EII will have
its own module port, though, so you could in theory
just leave the EII plugged in to your calc except
for when you want to link with the PC or use something
that isn't availible as an EII module. The module port
was designed for things like IR links, TI modem-style
devices, and I2C/SPI chips. It may even be possible to
do cheap sound effects if you really get creative.
