Re: TI-H: E2 (Shameless ad)...

Well, your AVR upgrade, bug fix policy is EXCELENT, and the board layout is
great as well!!! The MMOD plug is just an 8-pin header. (+), (-), the 4 data
and select lines to the memory chip, and two wires in series with the power
switch or the main power source.

+ pwr dev -

1 2 3 4

Pwr and dev are power source and device.
       Battery
 (-) ---|'|'----pwr dev----(+)

The MMOD simply shorts pwr and dev to complete the circuit. That way, you
can't turn it on without the MMOD pluged in.

If you feel that's un necesary, then 6 pins is all that's needed!!!

It's quite simple. The hardwst part is finding a case for the MMOD. The chip
has to fit into it. It'll fit into Virtual boy cartridge covers as modified
acording to my page, but those aren't the easiest to get.

They are free, but if you've ordered them before, they don't like to send any
more. It's one of those things where the buyer should possibly provide parts.
Otherwise, it may be possible to modify a plastic shell that goes over a 9-pin
serial cable plug???
