The day apple dies, is the day bill rules the world (neither is going to
happen.)

There are alot of linux OSs that run fine on macs btw.  If you had a choice
of installing a ZIP drive, would you like to plug it in, turn on your
computer, and use the disk?  No driver disks at all?  no cards to install?
Many people can.

In fact, apple hasn't done linux for 2 years.  Every version of linux would
be a hack job from your standards.  Linux is an open OS and the whole point
is a bunch of people hacking it to fit different architectures.  Apple in
no way supports linux (except Mk, which they realy just fund).
