No, and for two reasons.
One:  You're a constant annoyance with your comments on the list.  This being
one of them.
Two: you're still full of crap.  I've tried god-knows-how-many encoders on my
P2, and they still can't even encode a low quality wav file into an equally low
quality mp3 in the time it takes to play the file...  therefore, your little
486-100 won't do it either... a few seconds slow is close to realtime... a
minute is most definitely not.
