If I understand your correctly, you're trying to use WTran8x with a TI-92.  The 
full name of Wtran8 is WTran8x, as in Windows Transfer for a TI-8x.  Note the 
8x, like 82, 83, 85, and 86.  Not TI-92.  Download WinLink92 from 
http://www.ticalc.org/linking/ and use it with a 92.
