takeout all the batterys, includeing the backup battery, and the two
screws.
then pop it open with a flat object like a wide screwdriver(1/2 inch or
more) bu puting the screwdriver blade in the slot where the cover slides
on (near the middle of the calc) and twist, do that on both sides and it
should work.
