I am curious about this, not that I really have much need to use my calc
in the dark, but it sure could be handy, not to mention, just neat to do.
What type of lighting panel are you using?
I am interested in those green and blue sheets that have recently been
used in nightlights and watches (commonly, Indiglo, by Timex).  What
voltage/current is used to drive those panels?
