Can is a word that is often used improperly...

It wouldn't work at all!

Look here, this is the protocall.  It involves both calculators reacting to
the transfers.  It just can't listen in becuase it would get off sync!

Calc 1: pull data high
Calc 2: pull clock high
Calc 2: pull clock low
...
...
...

This isn't realy what happens, but is close enough.  The calculator in
short, couldn't receive the TI protocall without sending a clock signal of
its own, which would mess things up.
