It was about 3 months ago.. It had given plenty of warning, though,
refusing to sync unless turned off and on.  Tweaking the internal
potentiometers (sp?) gave a few more months of life..

I just tossed an old VGA monitor we had sitting around back on the
computer, and we were back up in no time.. Fortunately my parents don't
care it's stuck in 640x480 (and my monitor is fine.. <g>).

Don't forget, the sucker has an expansion port too.. hehe, but good luck
getting documentation out of Apple.
