Sure they will, just not for very long. (Acutally, there is
a limit to the amperage batteries will supply, determined by
the chemistry of the battery (temp, age, charge, internal resistance,
etc.), but 80 amps should be within that.

What you want is a battery pack with higher Ah (amp hour) rating.
Some battery manufactures give Ah ratings and discharge curves on
their websites (looks like duracell doesn't, but energizer does).
If you measure the current draw of the calculator, you can give
an estimate of how long it will run on a particular kind of
battery.

The only way you would get more amperage through it than it
normally sinks is by upping the voltage, Ohms law, you know.
