Or you could have two lines, when one goes high, it goes forward, and the
other makes it go reverse, and if both are high or both low, then it's idle.

Personaly, I prefer that method. It eliminates those logic gates at the
"front" of the circuit. I personaly would think that to be simpler to control.

Maybe for microprocessors or something???
