Actually, the only reason Mel's ESF was faster than
the EuP was because TI seriously botched up the TI
byte send/rec routines in the ROM. I have a feeling
if I rewrite them I can see a significant improvement
in throughput. It won't match ESF speed, of course,
but it won't have any of those odd problems that ESF
owners occasionally experience.
