Re: TI-H: EL slows my processor!?!?! WHAT!

I know how an RC circuit works. I've looked for shorts, but couldn't find any!

The calc is fine when the EL panel is off, but when i turn it on, the calc
slows down. This is the ONLY calc I've ever seen do this. I alread checked for
shorts , but I just don't know what's happening!

I've done ELs before, and this makes no sense to me??? The batteries aren't
that old.

I know how the RC circuit works, but I'm just curious why the EL would effect
it in any way. It has no shorts I can see. nothing at all, and when the EL is
off, the turbo or normal speed work properly. When it's on, the calc slows. Is
it possible that the capacitor is damaged and not charging in lower voltage
conditions??? Maybe??? I know it charges fine when the EL is off!
