I know! like I said, an x-windows system! Hey, it fits the name, anyways.  Program for the smallest size, and make it multitasking, so you could switch away from the current programs.  There is already one program like this I have seen, but never a cross platform one... the x-windows system would have to be built into the kernel, tho, to save space
