Just found a way to dump the rom: Go to the TI-FILES
(http://www.inlink.com/~dafek/ti-files/) and check out the columns section
and the article "Hacking the ti-82 part II". it has some pretty interesting
stuff and near the bottom it shows how to dump the rom.  If some one put it
into a Z80 disassembler program we could check for the proverbial "back
door" that millions of 82 owners would love to find. I would be willing to
do this except for two problems: A. I don't have a Z80 disassembler B. I
don't know Z80. But perhaps someone here knows something about it or could
pass this on to someone who does.
