Actually, Intel got to the top by stealing DECs technology... The reason
that they are buying DECs facility is because of the copyright infringment
thing... Intel agree to buy DECs facility and keep making Alphas and gave
some large sum of money to DEC for the technology theft. So in effect,
intel is paying DEC back by buying thier plant, *and* DEC is getting a
boost because intel and DEC are going to work on a partnership of some
kind (cant remember the name of the chip tho) So, while alphas will still
be made, it prolly wont be for long.
