I doubt that its possible in BASIC, but there is a small ASM program called
"Fastkeyboard" or something in TICalc.org's misc 89 archives that speeds up
the keyboard repeat rate... that should fix the problem, but unfortuneatly
the program would have to be installed on the user's calculator prior to
running the BASIC program. I know that there is some command in 89 BASIC
that allows you to enter ASM codes... maybe there is one that could do this.
