1. You should be able to buy new serial ports....you'll probably need the ISA 
version (consult your motherboard manual for details). You can also see if 
you computer has any working PS/2 ports, consider getting a cheap PS/2 mouse 
(all new computers use PS/2 or USB for keyboards and ice).
2. You should be able to download from http://www.ti.com/
