Hey, be nice. I agree with you, but think about it. Lets say that about 5% of a
high school population would be really interested *and* capable of doing it.
That isn't enough to go hire teachers create classes, possibly buy new
hardware/software, etc. You'll learn to program in college, otherwise you can
always do it on your own, just make sure to start at the right level. I don't
suggest jumping into C++ if you never did anything other than TI-Basic. But if
you really want to, I'm sure you can learn C++ too. Just get a good book, buy an
IDE, and program away. The IDEs aren't that expensive if you take advantage of
academic pricing ( 100$ for VB professionnal edition, the learner edition is
cheaper). See my previous post about Java if you are really broke.
