TIB: Re: Will TI ever introduce a C based Calculator?

Remember that the ti-basic language is there for people who want to write math
programs for the calc, usually to do relatively simple and repetitive stuff. It
has to be really easy to learn and very safe (don't wanna crash the calc) not to
mention that it has to be able to be used on the calc (not everyone has
graphlinks and computers).

If you wanna do anything very fast, use ASM. C would be bigger and slower than
ASM. And honestly, even though I barely know ASM, it doesn't seem that hard if
you have C experience. (I only know Java and VB and I flew through the tutorials
I read) (Java is kinda based on C).

The most important point is that the calc has to easy enough to program so that
ALL users can create programs.
