*We* all love our calculators, but the mean people at ETS don't think so.
For most of the BC calc exam, you can't use your calcs. I don't know if
this applies to AB, but I'm thinking it would. here we go...

Things off the top of my head (for BC, i don't know how much applies to
AB)...

riemann's sums prgm for area under a graph -- know all three!
trapezoidal rule prgm for area under a graph
euler's method prgm for solving differential equations.
partial sum programs (ones that give tables of data and ones that show
graphs of the partial sums)
programs for geometric and arithmetic series and sequences -- my version
also solves 'sigma sums'
quadratic formula prgm
synthetic division prgm
games to play after you finish the test two hours early... (just kidding)
etc.etc.etc.

I can't post these (Juno can't do files), but they aren't too hard to
implement. And, chances are you or someone you know already has them.

Another way is to put a bunch of equations and stuff in a non-executable
"text" file program. stuff like
derivatives and integrals of inverse trig functions
formula for volumes of rotation
formula for area under a polar graph
the derivative of the inverse of f(x) is the reciprocal of the derivative
of f(x).
common integrals and chain rule stuff
etc.etc.etc.

Also, of course you want to be very familiar with your TI (but you
wouldn't otherwise be here, would you?). Know the FNINT and NDER
functions very well, know how to do graphs with them. have lotsa
practice with good viewing windows, etc.etc.etc.

oh yeah... know how to convert stuff between cartesian (x,y), parametric
(x,y,t) and polar (theta, r).

I'm getting off topic (things to know and not things for calc) so I'll
shut up now.
Mail me *off the list* if you have other questions that I might be able
to answer.

Similarly, what programs are there for Physics C AP????
Spanish Language AP? :-)
