This is what I mean. Icon Edit (my competition) is larger by about 200
bytes. Its features that I have seen are loading, saving and automatic
clipping. Icon Maker (my program) features include: loading, saving,
horizontal and vertical flipping, blow up scaling 1x to 6x, ghosting and
inverting. Remember mine program is about 200 bytes smaller and has more
functionality. The competition is fine with me, the product is not. If
their product was more functional or was smaller I would not have a
problem. I am merely stating that programs should be faster and/or
smaller and/or more functional if it is to be released. Since Icon Edit
(my competition) is none of those, I believe that the programmer should
make it better. I WANT competition and I WANT OPTIMIZATION. I am not
against competition nor choice. Please people just speed time optimizing
code, so that the choices are better for all.
