Because functionality, customisability, flexibility, and control "behind
the scenes" have all been traded for a slight increase in "user
friendliness."

Yes, but not voluntarily.

Since I know little about this area, I am not qualified to debate
about which is really faster. Every processor has advantages and
disadvantages. And 5 mHz makes no difference anyway unless
it's an 8x. In the past month, the speed of the best Pentiums
has increased by almost 50 mHz. Even if Macs were faster for
everything (which you could not prove to me), I could just wait
one more month and have a PC as fast.

Because the professionals are too lazy to learn how to use a
computer, or because they got them very cheaply and couldn't
afford to upgrade...

> Is it because they use Motorola chips (like in the TI-92)?

And this relates to the discussion... how?

> Do you hate Amiga too?

Do I know what Amiga is? Do I care to learn?

I don't intend to start another argument with you. I tried to write
this letter with as little room for debate if posible. These are my
opinions. Arguing with me for the sake of argument will not
change them.
