To explore this situation and observe the limit, first define f(x) = -4/(7x + 3) .
Then enter an expression like   f(-3/7 + {-e,e}) | e = 0.001  to see the values of the function just to the left and right of -3/7 . By repeating with e smaller and smaller, you will get the picture very quickly!
