OK do you have a manual? If so you should be ashemed of yourself.  That is
explained in the first section the getting started or whatever the first
chapter is called but anyway, on the factory menu(NOT CUSTOM) press F4,
then 1 to paste define to the home screen.  Then type the name of your
function(Ex sec(x)), then an =, and then what it actually equals so for
sec(x) your screen should look like this:

Define sec(x)=1/cos(x)

Then press enter and It's done.  Just type sec( input a number then close
the ) and it gives you the fuction.  For more info look in your manual
under user defined functions.
