You & all Black Cable owners should be able to purchase a "9 Pin Male to 25 Pin Female" adapter and work fine. If all you have is one port, you will have to give up the port when using the link. (Or add a serial port). There are other options, but they require other software and other cables.
One note, if you have an internal modem, it is possible the second port may be disabled.
