Well...
Faster processing speed doesn't always equal faster calculation times. As
I've stated before hte HP is almost always a lot quicker when it comes to
numerical calculations. Load Erable and/or Alg48
and it rocks with symbolics as well (without those it's not much to write
home about though).
I still very much think that RPN is faster to use, less prone to typing
mistakes, but, as you say, a bit more difficult to learn and explain to
others (not much though, I think).
If you load Java on the HP you also get pretty-print and as fast
menu/respons times on key executions as on the TI89.
