Re: Mohr Circle

Okay, I don't really know the size of the HP48 user base (I don't own one,
why should I care?), but I do know that the TI user base has exploded very
quickly. We have what, three competing mega-websites? Even though the HP48
user base has been builting longer, the TI base has to be at least as large
by now.
I'll say it again. You can't argue superiority on the basis of software.
Say the TI has a program to find Bill Gate's net worth and the HP48 doesn't.
Does that make the TI better? No! It would take someone a very short time
to write the same thing for the HP48. A given program might be available on
a given platform first, but that only shows the preference of the
programmer, not the superiority of the platform.
