The only real problem with running a calculator like the TI8x and 92
calcs on finger power instead of batteries (assuming someone built a
reliable working circuit) is that you would run a high risk of erasing
memory on the calc unless is was designed very carefully so that the
memory battery kicked in whenever you were'nt touching your calculator.
Also, if you had data on the screen, but had to get up and didn't wan't
to take your calculator with you, you would have to take the wire off
your pinky, go do what you wanted to do, then put it back on.  This
would get annoying if you had to do this often.  Running you calculator
off your finger is a good idea, but I don't see it being very practical.
