Your method only works because YOU told the 92 to round to one decimal place.
The 92 did not know to round to one decimal place by itself.  You are all
missing the point of significant figures.  Rounding to a certain number
of decimal places is the easy part.  Knowing HOW MANY decimal places to round
to is the hard part - the part the TI-92 can't do by itself.
