homemade link cable

A long time ago when ZShell was first released for the TI-85 I bought the
needed supplies, sat down and made a homemade link. It worked fine but I
still ordered TI's link cable. Three years later I still have, and use, the
GraphLink cable. The homemade link is shredded and in pieces. Folks, the
$4.00 cables you buy at radio shack are of cheaper quality than TI's, and
the molding methods which consist of shrink wrap tubing are not going to
last in the long run. Unless you're bored or want to learn the mechanics of
how they're constructed you're much better off to "Invest" in TI's. I've
never understood the reluctance to shell out $30 for the real thing, their
of much better quality and will last much longer IMO...Eric
Baits set, do I have a bite?
