I had the same problem. I made a link for my 83 with a pentium, but it
wouldn't work. I tested on my uncles 386, and it worked. After reading
Nicholas Metcalfe's site, http://www.salokin.demon.co.uk/ticalcs.htm, I went
out and got a second hand, old I/O board. Popped it in, and haven't had a
problem since.
