Ok, here is something really odd taht might or might not work. Have an interupt rutine built into the backup or whatever that realize when the shell is supposed to be run and runs it. this could when on is pressed for example. Maybe this won't work, or it'll cause somethinge else to crash, I don't know. Somebody with expertise wanna comment. Richard
