I didn't read all of Dines reply, so forgive me if I restate something.
        The way I see it is that we dont need a universal OS.  Don't we
nearly already have that.  What we need is A GOOD, WORKING, MULTIPLATFORM
COMPILER.  (email me if you know of any)  It should have a library of asm
& basic for each calculator, along w/programming rules.  You load in a
program, and pick the source & destination calcs.  It then translates the
program, and loads it into an emulator where you can emulate any calc &
rom version.  This would be far more beneficial than a univ.OS.  Email me
if you want to know more in-depth about my ideas.  I will probably write
this in a formal text file next week sometime.
