Though in generally, the principle holds. The HP does nearly anything the TI can better, and faster, and makes it tremendously complicated in the process. You are welcomed with RPN, which actually is indeed better, speed/powerwise, but is certainly pain in the neck to learn. I'm not saying all HP functions are like that (less userfriendly, more powerful), but most are.
